I’m Ashley Dannielle. Author and blogger. My genres include contemporary romance and erotica. My blog focuses on sex-positive topics. I spent 18 months ghostwriting erotica and it became very detrimental to my mental health. It’s frustrating when you come up with ideas for someone else and they get all the credit. BUT, it got my foot in the door to the erotica world and helped me realize that I have a passion for it. And I’m damn good at it.I started writing my own stories in May 2018 under the pen name “Lacey Love” but I got tired of hiding behind the facade of my pen name. I wanted to be able to confidently tell people what I do without the fear of the judgment. I essentially had to adopt a “don’t-give-a-damn” attitude. So that’s what I’ve done. And since sharing my secret with the world, I decided I also wanted to blog about things of the same nature.
What this blog is:This blog is all about teaching people to embrace their sexuality and gain confidence in themselves. Sex is one of the most natural things in this world and I really want to shed light on this. I’m tired of sex and sexuality being treated like something that needs to be swept under the rug. We all do it or have done it, at least once. (And you can’t tell me you didn’t/don’t enjoy it.) So why not just embrace it? My posts will include ways to gain confidence not only in the bedroom with your partner by giving out advice and tips, but also ways to feel confident with yourself. I’ll have posts showcasing my short stories and novels as well. And I really hope to have a whole section like “Ask Ashley” where you can ask questions (anonymously if you so feel the need) and I’ll give my advice. If NSFW content is not your cup of tea, I’ll inform you of when my contemporary romance stories are out. 🙂 (& BACK OFF SUSAN FROM ACCOUNTING. I can here you now “Oh my God. Did you hear? Ashley writes about sex now. She’s such a slut.” Even though you probably ran out and gobbled up 50 Shades of Grey like it was your last meal.)
What This Blog is not:This blog is not family friendly (see ya ad revenue…) This blog is not to tell you what you must do in order to have a happy, healthy relationship(s). This blog is not going to kink shame, anyone. And most of all this blog will not include any crazy details about my own personal sex life, because well I don’t think that would be fair to my husband. It’s also, in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM for ANYONE under the age of 18. This is a site with #AdultContent and is not in anyway intended for any minors. Anyways, welcome to my blog, to my writing, to my life. I really hope you stick around and enjoy my content. XX, Ashley Dannielle
